I think that fear can be multifaceted. Some of it is fear that once someone experiences the not so beautiful (those moments, hours, day all of us have from time to time) they will use that to define us as a person, as if we can fall from grace. That is followed by the judgment, dissapointment and sometimes being kicked off the pedestal people who shine tend to get placed upon. Or the pedestal we place ourselves upon by expecting perfection when acceptance will do just fine. Regardless, you are beautiful and I am glad to know you.
